Shenandoah University's chapter of APhA met at the Free Medical Clinic on Saturday morning for Operation Immunization. The goal of the event was to immunize patients for free who may not otherwise be able to afford the shot at a pharmacy. As a P2 most of my job was paperwork and it was a great experience to watch my classmates who were recently certified make a difference in our community. In total we had about thirty patients come to the clinic to receive the flu shot!
